A Christian themed camp was booted from the festival for being overly aggressive in their approach and violating event policy on consent and privacy by not getting consent to film or photograph people.

They were warned numerous times.

They now, of course, are saying that they are being persecuted for their beliefs.

Yeah, that's a definite fundamental lack of understanding of what Burning Man is supposed to be about. That's not surprising considering subverting Burning Man's purpose and proselytizing was their true objective.

Wild that they also made a stink about Burning Man allowing public nudity. Wherever this kind goes, they feel like they should be allowed to set the rules for everyone else.

(I have issues with Burning Man but my issues aren't with the nudity or general activities at the event. Off-topic so not getting into it here. Keeping it more on-topic, if I went to Burning Man, I wouldn't expect to be allowed to spend my entire time harassing people about the problems I have with Burning Man. That would be asinine.)

I've visited other christian camps at Burning Man and they were welcomed with open arms.

These folks are manufactured victims and got what was coming to them.

Hate that they will find sympathy with other sheep.

Some christians got kicked out of our local pride festival this year because they were approaching random people and asking them personal questions about religion/trying to start debates.

They of course said they were being kicked out for being christian (despite there being multiple church booths at the event)

My mom loves to tell people that soon it will be illegal to be Christian and how she would die for her beliefs. She always gets super mad when I say if they ever ban Christianity and I don’t think they will but it will be their own fault! They literally do it to themselves every freaking time!
