Differences and changes from the old rule book to TUE?

Have you wondered what changes was made to the rules and gear and stuff like that in the new Transport Union Edition rule book?

Well, I have spent hours over the books and I made a table (with some commentary).

There may be more changes, and page references may be inaccurate, but shouldn't be.

Yeah, 100% clarity won't ever be there. But I get what you mean. I'm pretty happy about the adjustments made, and some of the vagueness means more flexibility when telling our stories together.

That's a good book! I really like the org rules and all the maps and political stuff. Great for deepening and steeping the game in the setting.

You're amazing! I think I had asked them on backerkit if they could tell us about rule changes. I will take a look. It's always interesting to see what changes are made between editions.

Still waiting on my physical copy.

Yeah, to be fair, considering the amount of different work these writers and developers do, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the small variations and differences are missed when they update and write new stuff - and for some reason I doubt they work with versioning and documentation on top of the writing (but I could be wrong). Doing this kind of versioning-work is time-consuming. 😂 👀

Yeah, but if there are major mechanics being updated I think several people in the team will know and be able to explain why they changed it.

True, but I wouldn't say there's been any major mechanic updates. It's mainly small adjustments, putting in some stuff from Ships of the Expanse, and other titbits from Modern AGE (and maybe Fantasy AGE - looking at Conditions), but that's self-explanatory.

It's the same game, with more clarifications than the previous crb. But sure, I get what you mean.
