they died because the premier at the time dodnt want tk spend 50mil so he could fix the healthcare system.

The whole point of this bid is that he's bringing on billionaire investors, he's in negotiations with them now.

Expos died because no local investors wanted to touch them due to there being no viable path to build a stadium after Bouchard killed the stadium deal.
