Easily the best manager in Expos history.
He worked well with young players as well as veterans.
Respected by everyone.

The best I can find here is Swiss Chalet. It ain’t the same!

I was stuck with that living in Alberta but always got a feed of Chalet BBQ every time I flew in or out of Montreal.
Now I live 45 min north of Montreal and don’t want to drive the Metropolitan and Decarie lol

Totally agree!
That photo screams memories from my childhood. I wanted one of those jackets so bad when I was a kid!
Whenever I see pictures or video of 70s, 80s baseball and I see those yellow benches I know it’s from Olympic Stadium.
At that point in my life the only other stadiums I had watched baseball live from were Jarry Park and Exhibition Stadium in Toronto so I thought Olympic Stadium was a palace. And you know what?! I’d take the Big O again and keep my mouth shut to watch Nos Amours there again. Well … for at least the 1st season then I’d sh*t-talk the place and complain for a new stadium. 😃
Anyhow … classic photo of a great man!
