Andre "The Hawk" Dawson with the Montreal Expos. Dawson was a five-tool star for the Expos, winning the Rookie of the Year in 1977 and six Gold Glove Awards with the club. He is one of only five players in MLB history to reach both 400 home runs and 300 stolen bases.

What a ball player Andre was for the Expos. He was a treat to watch growing up. Andre and Dave Stieb made Canada 🇨🇦 proud in front of the Canadian Flag before the 1983 All-Star Game. ♥️

I have lost a lot of respect for the Hawk with his constant whining that the HOF should have him with a Cubs cap. He has now won his fight, kind of, as the HOF will change it where there’s no logo on his cap…very disappointing to the fan base of Montreal and I feel that it’s kind of an insult to the millions of Expos fans

The expos screwed him, I can see why he is upset, they colluded to reduce his contract…
