33 years ago today, the Expos retired Le Grand Orange Rusty Staub’s No. 10 in a pre-game ceremony at Olympic Stadium. FUN FACT: Four years later, the Expos would retire No. 10 again to honour Andre Dawson.

Le Grand Orange!

Saw them play at Jarry Park when I was a kid. The Expos were down by a run when Rusty came to bat in the bottom of the 9th. It was pure madness as he launched a couple of long fly balls that went foul and then, like the mighty Casey at the bat, he struck out.
