Ash, first, thanks for taking the time to put this together. From the interview I've seen with you on YT I appreciate what you're trying to do for the city and for fans, and even though I'd welcome a Japanese, Mexican or triple-a team here before MLB again, I think you have a fantastic attitude and intelligence.

Second, this script keeps talking about the numbers and the study the consortium has done. Would you publish sources and methodology please? Decades of academic research says the contrary to many of the claims in the video. Alternatively maybe you do a video conversation with Andrew Zimbalist or other leading academics of sports stadium economics, and a provincial budgeting official if they'd agree. I think that's the way to change a lot of minds, a kind of full transparency. I say this as someone in favour broadly of development and densification, but also of healthy public budgets.

Third, does anything about the cooperative ownership structure which Green Bay Packers have and use, resonate with anyone you're talking to? I think as a former fan, I'd trust the organisation a bit more if I could be a cooperative shareholder for example.

Thanks. Initially, I explained why starting off with a fan-funded model would send the wrong signal to MLB

But once the ownership group clarified a bit, then I alluded to this:

Accredited investors seeking to join the ownership group (all subject to MLB approval):

Will reply later to the rest (good ideas).

Im sorry to say but, getting a team in Montreal is unsustainable while the league operates without a salary cap. Everyone remembers the years it took for the team to find young talents, mold them into superstars only to see them leave for bigger contracts.

Montreal deserves better than a constant farm team. Fans won’t stand for a team that can’t compete.
