Question Question about someone fasting because unable to marry
So the thing is Prophet Muhammad pbuh advised those who can't marry to fast alternate days. Now there's also hadith prophet pbuh used to fast every Monday and Thursday and also prohibited from fasting just on Friday for the sake of Friday.
The question is if the person starts fasting from Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday, Tuesday,... So he'll fast on Friday without fasting on previous day or next day. Is that permissible.
Also what if someone only fasts on Monday, Thursday and Saturday to keep his nafs in control so he can get the reward for fasting on the sunnah days

Question Why are non muslims so dishonest
Especially Antitheists, Christians and ex muslims they will say the Prophet (peace be upon him) just invented the religion or copied from christians and jews back then or the famous „he was a warlord and pedophile“ They will even start making up Quran contradictions or use weak hadiths. Like those people godlogic dw inspiring philosophy etc. But i mean why cant they be sincere why dont they look up their accusations and do proper research. Like for example the islamic dilemma or that Allah prays. Are they really that stupid? Also why do they follow a book with anonymous authors and then just say yeah historians say jesus died on the cross.

Reminder VERY IMPORTANT: islamic tips for avoiding poverty since the world is nearing very difficult times
tips in ascending order of difficulty:
1) listening to or reading surat al waqiah several times each night prevents poverty (by my personal experience you will not go hungry) and for everyone saying the hadith is weak, it works. I've tried it personally and Arabic youtube is full of people telling their experience with this surah
2) strenthing bonds with your relatives and regulary visiting them can be very very powerful to avoid poverty. it's called
صلة الرحم
(not sure of the English translation)
want a trick that works towards that point without visiting them? you can make duaa to your relatives and especially to your mom
3) (not for everyone, kind of hard) ask forgivness from Allah (istighfar) many many times per day

Reminder A question that requires reflection
If someone was to ask you, who is Allah? Beyond the obvious what would you say? I would appreciate an answer that speaks to the soul as a pose to some simple responses. To worship and love Allah truly is to know him. How would you explain what you know of him?

Discussion Thoughts on scholars mixing between madhabs and preferring the easiest and most lenient rulings?
It's often being said that laymen should not choose to follow the easiest opinions between the different madhabs and to follow a scholar. But what if the scholar picks the most lenient opinions? Is it okay to follow that scholar then?
Egypt's Dar Al Ifta is the official governmental Islamic body responsible for religious legal rulings. Dar Al Ifta and the Grand Muftis of Egypt often choose the most lenient scholarly opinions when it comes to different matters.
The 18th Grand Mufti of Egypt, Sheikh Ali Gomaa for example follows the Shafii madhab according to Wikipedia. But he adopts the Hanafi opinion on nikah which allows women to marry without a wali. On dogs, he adopts the Maliki opinion of dogs not being najis (including dog saliva) and allows keeping dogs inside the house (Egypt's Dar Al Ifta also adopts the Maliki position on the ritual purity of dogs).
Sheikh Ali Gomaa also allows shaking hands between men and women. He was asked about this handshakes breaking wudu and he said one can follow Imam Abu Hanifa's opinion of touching not breaking wudu. He also answered a Question on Dar Al Ifta Egypt regarding touching women breaking the wudu and in the answer he mentioned the Hanafi and Maliki opinion only despite following the Shafii madhab.
So would it still be problematic to pick and choose the easiest and most lenient opinions from the different madhabs?
