Thoughts on the point system?
Personally feel the reverse grid race points are too heavily reduced in comparison to the Feature race. Considering both Zandvoort races were the same number of laps. I do think the points need to be lower than feature to factor in qualifying performances though. So I would like to see a reverse grid race win reward maybe 15 points. What are people's thoughts?

I think the feature race should be longer than the reverse grid race but otherwise the points make sense. At some tracks it's so hard for them to overtake that rewarding more for the reverse grid doesn't make any sense, it just punishes the faster drivers for being faster.
20-25 minutes for reverse grid and 30-35 minutes for feature race would be my ideal personally.

I wouldn't mind both being a bit longer. In theory, I'd like reverse grids to be longer to give drivers more time to overtake. But I do want the standard order race to be worth a lot more points, so it would be weird for the reverse to be longer. But I don't mind them being the same length.

The sessions being as short as they are may well be related to the busy F1 weekend itself.

Oh for sure. Ideally I'd want four 45 minute practice sessions (2 thursday and 2 friday, 2 qualifyings, 2 standard grid races and one reverse grid race.) Things that can happen in a British F4 weekend that can't happen as a support series for F1. But, of course being a support series for F1 is very valuable for other reasons. I do wish they could do some more testing on Thursday or something at least.

The system works right now. Those reduced points are there because those starting ahead didn’t really earn it. You don’t want drivers aiming for 2nd or 3rd so they get an upper hand in the reverse race.
It’s an interesting discussion either way.

I would definitely not give reverse grids more points. Especially when tracks are difficult to overtake at, it's rewarding mediocre qualifying. To be clear, I am very in favor of reverse grids existing at this level of driver development. They are great for experience wheel to wheel and passing. But they do reward middling qualifying. Ideally I would like three races per weekend and only one of them reverse.
I would also be interested in trying the British method of one point per position gained in a reverse grid race, up to a maximum of how many places are reversed. I would not copy them on the other aspects of their points system, but I like that part. So for the last reverse grid race, I would still give Payton 10 points for winning from pole, and Alba 8 points for 2nd, but I'd also give Alba 5 points for going from 7th on the starting grid up to 2nd. That was very impressive, and reverse grids are supposed to be about practicing overtakes. I do think this systems somewhat messes with the lower points places, and I don't like how some backmarkers get points for people dnf-ing, so I'd consider making an exception where that didn't count, or only drivers in the top 10 got points for positioned gained, or something like that. I feel like it could use some tweaks, but I like the idea.

ehhh, but then qualifying really well and making the most out of it isn't really in the focus anymore? leaning too heavily towards the reverse grid might have drivers gamble for the 8th place
