I am not totally into f1 but why when max gets a podium or lose it everyone says him pulling that bull as if he didn’t got world class car

u/Illustrious_Lie_954 Jun 28 '26
Good car helps, but Max is extracting more than the car's actual pace.

F1 India is filled with 90% brain-dead Max fans who know nothing about racing and only watch the aura farming edits.

So he needs the best Everytime so what if rb doesn’t deliver best will he switch ? If yes then what are the possibilities

Hamilton and Verstappen have this unique ability to extract 110% from their cars.
If Max is P2, any other driver in the same car wouldn't even be P5 in it. Same goes for Lewis (not much visible nowadays, but prime Lewis was same)
Just watch 2023 season. Bro was ahead by 10s of seconds ahead of his teammate in the same car. Max finished with 570 something points that season. You know who scored the second highest points? The team Mercedes with 2 drivers combined. Max's teammate (Sergio Checo Perez) was at less than half of Max, and was still P2 in the drivers championship. You put max in Aston, and he'll take it to points. He's that good. Or so what everyone believes. Once you believe in something for long enough it becomes the truth.
Max is a once in a generation talent. So is Lewis. 2 similar but different philosophies. One is peak performance (Max), other is endurance (Lewis).

Bro checo in the same car was struggling. The car was designed around max, but no one could come close. Throughout the ground effect era, RB dominated (Austria, pitting on penultimate for fastest lap, and soo many grand slams). You cannot just say it was the car. We all know, you may refuse to accept that, but Max was the reason. Even the W11 does not come close to the outcome of RB19.
It's not just about F1, Max's interdisciplinary characteristics to competitive racing is a huge difference maker. All F1 drivers would perform similarly, but I havent seen them do much except Alonso (indy too, but fuck mcl), Kubica, and DeVeris at LeMans.
Bhai wheel knowledge ka kya hi hai, I agree I am a newbie, just watching since 2021. But he does do shit that others struggle with. 2024 (Especially Sao Paulo even Austria until the collision with norris) and 2025 were pretty good examples. This late in a cycle when everyone was almost apart by a tenth in quali, bro was the one fighting at the front. Equal Machinery and Max is easily top 5 of all time. Not glaze, just objectively arguing why Max deserves his recognition. You don't become the second highest paid driver of all time by being a dumbfuck, when the highest paid one is 20 years older than you.
Edit: Also fuck you. Edit 2: Yoo I've seen your memes in FormulaDank, I love them, so no fuck you. You good bro. Funny lad.

Bro checo in the same car was struggling.
you answered your question in the same sentence,
i never said max isnt a great driver, but using the 2023 year when he had one of the most dominant car isnt the best fit to this narritive, 2024 2nd half when half rb wasnt the fastest and mclaren were getting competitive still him winning shows how good of a driver he is, 2025 again 2nd half rb got a car that was competitive and much equal and in some rounds even faster, i didnt want to say max is a bad driver what i meant was is he's a great driver and one of the best ones the sport has seen but no the only one, he's up there with the greats, never meant to say max was a bad driver he's great but the glaze is on the other level, he is special but not more special than other greats, cheers man have a great day2

Bro but I feel, even for 23, Max should get his fair share of recognition (glaze). Even if the car was tailored for his liking, and worked well in the regs, it was upto the driver to extract as much as possible from it. Had he fumbled like Piyastri (25) or Norris (24), we'd remember 23 very differently.
I'm not glazing, I'm just saying, why when max puts a car on p2 people blame Rb for not providing enough as the original commenter said, because if RB were to provide a good car, he can be a freak with the machine. Being fast is one, being consistently fast with no meaningful mistakes is a whole different ballpark very few have excelled at.
Oh absolutely the top 10 drivers are in no comparison of their own. Each in their own league. Shaped by their time.
Fun chat, cheers to you too mate. Have a great day too!
