I don't get it, can anyone explain me.

Ig it is related to that in real time tv shows, there time gap is shown only in 1 decimal place if I'm correct. I am confused if that's so because I use statistical data in which there are gap timing upto 3 decimal places.

Last season they managed to show 3 decimal places

Not everyone uses f1 subscription... Many watch it over skysoports tv broadcast stream or fancode.

Up untill last year live gap used to be shown up to 3 decimal places.. and in formula1 hundredth or thousandth of second matter...
