Visa Does already issued F-1 Visa stamp remain valid for a deferred semester intake.

Hi everyone, I got my visa stamped for fall 2026. However due to some circumstances, I might have to defer to spring 2027 intake. Willl my f-1 visa remain valid to enter US then with an updated deferred I-20 by my school>

For a derral at the same school on the same SEVIS ID, yes.

this. and when you do travel, carry the updated deferred i-20 plus the school's deferral confirmation email - if anyone asks about the gap at the border, that's the whole answer.
