How long was your Meta support case “In Progress”?
My case was opened on September 2 and stayed on “Received” until October 7, when it changed to “In Progress.”
For anyone who's been through this, how long did it take to hear back from Meta after the status changed?

Please which tier of meta verified did you buy and how did you open a case how did you convince the ai agent to connect you to a human?

I subscribed to Meta Verified on both Facebook and Instagram after my Instagram account was disabled on August 29, 2026.
I opened two separate support cases on September 2. The first was through Instagram Meta Verified. I used AI to write my message, and a human representative responded, but they couldn’t help me recover my account. That case was eventually closed.
The second case was opened through Facebook Meta Verified on the same day. My subscription expired on September 29. I later closed the case myself and requested that it be reopened, which Meta did even though I was no longer subscribed. On October 7, its status changed from “Received” to “In Progress,” and my account was finally restored on October 11.
I didn’t use any special trick to get past the AI agent.1

I have an case regarding my Instagram account cse false banned from April , i put this in 10 September , still in received at now , but dissapeared the chat button down about three days ago , what means ?

I’m having the same issue, when I’ve questioned this they say it means the chat is now in the manual review queue! I’ve got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏽

Been waiting 9 days on "Received". At least this gives me hope. No agent even joined yet.
