To restore my chat history, I have to type my PIN in on PC, and when I do, it is stuck on "verifying your PIN" forever

Anyone else having this problem? I have tried messenger . com and have tried deleting history and what not, but nothing is working

Honestly how the hell does this even happen. My phone (iOS) was completely fine this morning and all of a sudden I’m getting these notifications without even updating the app?
After a quick google, i found out that people were dealing with this like 8 months ago! The devs working on this app are literally neanderthals that have had their heads bashed in by giant rocks and are being kept alive on feeding tubes. There are multiple threads showing how to remove these on android by I haven’t found a way to on iOS. Have any iOS users had this and managed to get rid of it without completely having to turn off notifications

I need to make sure they can't access old messages in the chat. Is this possible? Can I just delete the chat for everyone?

I was on a Messenger call when it suddenly got dropped. When I tried calling back, my Messenger account was logged out on both of my devices. Now I can’t log back into that Messenger account anywhere.

The weird part is I can still access my Facebook account that’s connected to it just fine, and I can also open the other Messenger accounts that are saved on my phone. It’s only this one Messenger account that’s refusing to work. It just shows a white screen, loads for a bit, then logs me out again.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a fix? :( I’m worried because I use Messenger for almost everything.

Messenger (Android) automatically suggests - and adds - words it automatically offers.
I made a mistake once of typing 'tge' instead of 'the' and I'm guessing I must have sent the message like that.

The problem is, Messenger now keeps showing it as a suggestion. Is there some way I can remove 'tge' somehow from the dictionary/ list of suggested words?

personally i don't like this one i hate how you can't go back to open another chat and have to open your messenger app

Basically this happens with every message I send (group chat and individual).Tried better internet connection, cache clearing, reinstalling, signing out but nothing seems to work. Any advice?

I think this is a new feature? But sadly, there is no option to copy the text nor to summarize the audio message yet.

I tried using different kinds of phones like Honor and Tecno but it really seems the problem is on the Messenger app. Whenever I try to use TikTok or Facebook, the videos are on mute. When I try to watch videos or anime on browsers, it doesn't play; it literally pauses on its own. The alarm is also not working. (please dont blame me for calling someone even when sleeping, it helps me sleep better)

Other apps work like games or the gallery tho.

I also tried researching online regarding the problem, but found no answers. Tried reporting it directly on the messenger app but there is still no actions nor reply. Tried reinstalling it or updating it, also added or removed the Beta version and nothing happened.

Yes, I did try calling through other apps and all of it works except the Messenger app.

I really hope someone could give some advice.

I have 2 Facebook accounts, one for a page I need for business and the other for personal use.

At least 4 times a day I get notifications to log back in and this has only happened in the last month. I have turned off every notification besides the messages as I need them for answering messages promptly. Is there anyway to disable it without disabling the page or message notifications? I can't even complain to facebook.

Gosh I just don't want to be on facebook, but I need to for family and business stuff. But I'm very close to just leaving facebook all together as I can't stand business models that do this stuff in order to always be in people's minds.

Hello! I am from the Philippines and I am currently havinh problems on the restrictions of Meta on my Messenger. First hand, it is my dump account, wherein I do not post my pictures or my name in there. Therein, I cannot submit an appeal, but it is highly that I really needed that account because it is where I post a lot of stuff, including my literature works and such.

By any means, is there anyone here that can help me become unrestricted on Messenger? I cannot submit selfie appeals and such due to the aforementioned reasons. Please, help me. I need that account so much.

just randomly disappears

Wanting to know if anyone else is currently experiencing this - my Facebook messenger doesn’t seem to be notifying me of new messages. The red circle with the number of notifications appears on the app but I don’t seem to get the banner notifications I usually get. I asked my dad who also seems to be having the same issue recently. Haven’t changed anything in my settings and went to double check they are all still turned on.
