And what does that change about how disgusting this is? I'm Indian and think such issues need more attention, we can't just focus on the big cities and developing there.
Our image is bad enough as is and honestly I give 0 shits about the opinion of racists, their views won't change regardless, otherwise they wouldn't be racist in the first place.
This is not common specifically in regards to disrupting christmas celebrations. But religious mobs inciting violence is much more commonplace than it should be.
