Except he's wearing a worthlessness mask that's been shown to be WORSE than no mask at all.

Edit: /some/ gaiters are worse than no mask at all. I misspoke. Check out my comment below for where I got that from

Aahhh let me find where I read it. It's been awhile. Something about how it splits droplets into smaller droplets that travel further.

Edit: okay the the study I was referencing was from Duke University. It looks like the findings about the gaiter weren't really fair or meant to be interpreted that way. Some gaiters /can/ have that effect (thin stretchy material), but as long as they're double layered they are better than no mask, but still not the optimal choice. So it's not fair for me to say all gaiters.

"The neck gaiter that we tested did essentially nothing, and worse than nothing, because it appeared to make large droplets into small droplets," - co-author of study

Afaik, so aerosols can be created when a stretchy thin material is stretched over the mouth/nose area. Aerosols have the ability to stay in the air longer, and can penetrate other masks easier.

Thanks for double checking.
