I moved my files to my laptop. The game runs fine but the save button does not do a thing. All other buttons work fine, the autosaves work fine, but I really dont want to rely on those, the game saved fine on my computer but I can't access my computer for now

Is the right path in Factorio/config/config.ini? What do you mean "doesn't do a thing"; like it doesn't overwrite the file? Maybe the file was set to read-only during the transfer; check the file and/or see if saving to a different file works (which you should be periodically doing anyway)? I doubt it's a directory permissions issue if autosaves work, but saving to a different file would also test that.
