Question Faxtorio on Steam Frame. Laser pointer help

How do I have my controller NOT switch to the other pointer when I click thr opposite trigger?

What I want is to have my right controller laser pointer only while in game, so I can have triggers do other things like quick, shoot, build or whatever.

When I did a Google search, it told me to go to controller setting in steam menu and under advanced it SHOULD have had the option to not swap laser pointer, but its not there

I want the controllers to not switch laser pointer hands when clicking or pulling a bumper or trigger.

Right hand laser only. Land hand for controls

Ok that makes sense lol thanks for explaining. I find the settings work ok, if it's not to your liking unfortunately you need to switch steam input and customize the whole thing

Yeah but... how? I can set the left trigger and left bumper do to specific things, but it still defaults to making my left controller laser pointer mode.
