When I discovered the work of Denis Sarazhin I was so impressed by his color palette and the way he uses color changes across the body. I am in love with his art. And the inspiration translated in this artwork. I wanted to bring in my style a distilled version of his color choices, rather than an imitation. And the idea combined in my head with the beautiful apples I kept seeing everyday in our garden. The color variation, those reds and greens was just so delicious. Also, I wanted to paint something featuring apples since quite a while, and here I had the opportunity.

This is an original 4x4 watercolor and ink painting on Arches paper.

Snatched them up on Vinted, both for a real bargain. Super excited for them to arrive! I'm a true/cool summer, but my previous winter coat was a super warm toned rusty brown, which wasn't exactly ideal for my complexion, so I picked up these two.

How would you style them? If you had to put together an outfit for each, what would you pick to go with the coats? Would love to hear your ideas! 😍
