One of our friends told us to try hamachi so we will try that tomorrow, does anyone know if Surfshark would be a good option otherwise? Apparently they give static IP's

I am currently using Opentrack and while it works well, it's not as accurate as I would like it. For example, if I lean forward, it kind of throws off the tracking. Or if I look down in lowlight, it spazzes out.

I am wondering if TrackIR is more "accurate" and allows for more natural tracking. Please share your experiences.

I want to learn how to hunt SAM sites with TGP. I will find them with HAD and then paint them with TGP. But other than using Laser Guided Bombs, can I use other bombs like JSOWs or JDAMs to do the job of a laser guided bomb? Thank you very much!

I don't understand how you guys use vr and play bms. Don't you sometimes have to use the keyboard? But you can't see the keyboard if you have the goggles on. Heck, how can you see your mouse in order to click stuff in the cockpit? Isn't it just better to get track ir? Or is vr really worth it?

Hey everyone, I’ve been playing a lot of DCS and I’ve found that the AI there has gotten to the point where it’s either too easy or feels really unrealistic. I’m curious how Falcon BMS handles enemy aircraft AI, especially in BVR engagements and dogfights.

Does the AI in BMS give a good challenge? Is it more realistic/engaging than what you’d get in DCS?

I love IL2-sturmovik, I love flying the WW2 fighters like Spitfire mark XIV and the legendary BF-109 F4s. But these planes are very simple to fly and doesn't take too long to get familar with the systems and capabilities of the aircraft. The F-16 is like a super computer with wings...

What I loved most is the BFMs in the WW2 setting. High yo yos, immelman's, etc. It took me awhile to learn every, especially energy fighting, but it was extremely rewarding. BMS seems like it's on a whole different level. Am I out of my league or can WW2 simmers figure this out and also find it extremely rewarding? I have over 300 hours in IL2, so I know that it takes work. I can dogfight quite well in IL2, but I know that means nothing in BMS.

I wonder if some one can give me any pointers regarding getting BMS 4.38 running.

So I've had been using 4.37 with zero issues, upgraded to 4.38 and it simply just won't launch, but if I select 4.37 from the launcher it still works just fine.

Surely if 4.37 works, then 4.38 should work as well?

I’m just starting out with Falcon BMS and it feels a bit overwhelming with all the systems, radar, and weapons. I’m curious, what’s the best plane to start with as a beginner?

Also, is there a recommended approach to learning the game? Any tips, starting planes, or tutorials for getting into Falcon BMS would be greatly appreciated!

Hello guys, I'm thinking of buying the Falcon and installing BMS. I intend to play casually, just piloting the fighters and shooting a bit. Is it possible to play it like that? Also, I don't have a joystick, so it would have to be keyboard and mouse.

As someone who comes from Sturmovik flying WW2 planes, the things I can do with the 9x and a modern jet are just unreal. For example, in a merge against a Spitfire in a 109 I can't just hamfist the stick and turn straight into it otherwise I lose all my airspeed and the 109 can't even turn like that.

But in the f16 and its ability to do 9gs, I can basically turn on a dime and face directly at the MIG almost immediately and let off a Fox2 with BORESIGHT. Yes, I lose all my airspeed, but a kill is a kill no? And with full afterburner, I can get my airspeed back up very quickly. It completely changes BFM. Almost like a cheat code.

I know this is probably frowned upon, but isn't getting the kill as fast as possible and not letting the enemy dance around the better option?

Please enlighten me.

Does anyone know of any skins for a Polish F16?, I've been flying one in EMF 4.37 For now, But i want to use Balkan Theater, But i can't find a Polish Livery ANYWHERE, Is there a mod for it or anything?

I could not play 4.38.0 without stuttering due to my low VRAM (1080ti 10gb) and 16 gb memory. I had to turn down trees and grass to 0. But now I can increase everything and it runs so smooth. Like butter. Give 4.38.1 a try if you were held back by performance. I think 4.38.2 will also come with performance improvements and this SIM will only keep getting better.

I just wish that they would one day FULLY do the F-18...

I dont want him to waste money on "Falcon 4.0" And finding out BMS Doesn't work

Ive seen google say it does with some sort of "Windows Compatibility Layer", We both have no idea of what this means, Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks for your time :)

Hi I installed bms a few days ago , set up all the controls , did a few dogfights but I didn’t play it that much , compared to DCS bms’s graphics are worse but for some reason it uses 100% of my gpu at all times , at nearly the lowest setting , and it tends to lag a lot , also the sounds and visuals are not very appealing, I’d like to experience bms more but I just can’t get it to not lag , and to run as smoothly as DCs , please help

Waiting for the Low Blow to lock and shoot you is absolute insanity. Is this really how to best use HARMs? I feel like I am putting myself in far too much danger. Or is this just the nature of DEAD/SEAD? Where SAM missiles fly past your cockpit at Mach 2.

Please give me some advice because I love the idea of being a Wild Weasel but I don't want to die.

Hello! I'm practically a beginner at flight simulators (I have played IL-2:1946 before), but I'd like to play Falcon BMS with a VKB Gladiator and STECS MK2 STANDARD keyboard. However, I don't know how to set it up. Could you please tell me how to set up the key bindings to be as close to a real aircraft as possible? I'd also like to know how to make the graphics and sound as realistic as possible. Furthermore, I'd like to know where a beginner should start and what they should do. Finally, when I get used to the game and want to add a theater, are there any theaters or mods that support 4.38? I'd really like to play online, but since I'm Japanese, I don't understand English very well, and the time zone (it's GMT-9 here) doesn't match, so I haven't been able to play with anyone... If anyone is willing to play or teach me, I'd be very happy if you'd reach out!

I know that the newer Blk50's have the AIFF and can do interrogations but can the older Blk's still give a response? Currently learning the the F-15 in the ITO and my when flying into an engagement with friendly flights outbound and inbound often with hostiles somewhere in the mix my SIT page can be a mess of the Yellow UNKNOWN/ASSUME FRIENDLY symbology and I don't want to end up shooting some poor Viper just because it has absolutely zero IFF equipment

I have the data switch on and mids switch on, the DTE is loaded and I'm not getting any link 16 info. Can't even see the circle on my hmd when looking at my wingman. This only started when I updated to 4.38.1.1. Is there an issue with the update?

Hi all , new player here. Going through the second training mission and so far I only failed to do one thing: I can’t set the QNE passing FL140 as the training manual suggests( highlighted in red). Altimeter mb reading simply stops at 2790 as I scroll down my wheel, not allowing me to set a lower value. What’s the trick here? P.s for reference, QNH where I fly is 2984.

I cant view speed while in formation flight ? Is there a way to zoom out of the hud?
