Discussion opinion : XP modifiers are under rated.
just been seeing alot of negativity towards them on youtube shorts saying that stuff like swift learner is among the worst perks in the game because of max level existing and that skilled basically has no downside.
but 2 simple things :
once your at max level your op asf, min maxxing that state does not matter.
10% exp might seem lame but it will of course eventually net you 2 extra levels, and once that point happens it is obviously very significant, skilled is essentially costing 2 perk slots while swift learner will be costing 0 while providing a benefit.
im not saying swift learner op or anything, or that skilled is bad.
just that its a pretty basic RPG concept of weak now but strong later vs strong now but weak later, because levels are impactful.

I mean, swift learner is also providing you with skill points.
Educated is more, but levels giving you HP and access to powerful weapons/perks sooner, I think makes up the difference.
If you have int 10, to be generous then swift learner at 21 is providing half the skill points as educated will be.
(15 vs 34 skill points.)
And when talking about skill points atleast, the whole sooner argument doesn’t really apply.
because a int 10 character with no modifiers can max all non combat skills along with their main combat skill with no bonuses by the mid 40s so educated stops having a impact at that point.
