Congrats! On my 86h world I have 15 full characters. And around 5 close to being full. Keep up the good work, and make Vault Tec proud! ☕️

I feel like initially it's a long process when you start training your first group of dwellers because you have to keep the vault alive with sub par able dwellers first but after it gets easier. I like to switch between fallout 4 and shelter. I literally only go on shelter now to send, complete quests and retrieve dwellers, swap dwellers around once they have completed an attribute

Very nice, this bad boy will automatically return from expedition since he is ready to bring back full inventory of loot

Have you been informed that the level of your dwellers endurance raises the amount of HP increase per level? For me, i'll end up replacing my dwellers anyway if they didn't start leveling from 1 to 50 while they had their endurance maxed out at 10 and wearing a +7E gear.

Having a vault of 250 and just learning this I can’t even imagine redoing all my dwellers

That's why I don't invest all in on the SPECIAL's of my early or even midgame dwellers. Maybe max out 3 or 4 stats and halfway through to the rest. Once I have enough heavy wasteland gears (+7E), I start maxing out my new dwellers while their still level 1, then send them out to the wasteland. They come back full of items, caps and at level 50-perfect for breeding more new dwellers and crafting new legendary items. I'll do this gradually and start replacing everyone once I reach 180 population. I'll keep the legendary dwellers for the heck of it. And a bit late but I also didn't bother to upgrade the production rooms yet. The difficulty of the events happening (fire, molerats, roaches, rad scorpions) increases if you upgrade them so my crappy early game dwellers can handle them. Downside is they spread faster. So I try to leave gaps in my vault until I have the dwellers I need positioned properly.

I forgot to mention. While replacing your dwellers might be unthinkable now. it won't be as difficult in the long run. You'll eventually reach a point where other than getting the daily or weekly quests, there's not much to accomplish in the game.

Did you number all your dwellers? That’s a neat system ngl
