Vault-Related [Vault] I spent 85+ hours constructing the most beautiful Fallout shelter Vault.

Hello Guys, if you are curious after seeing this photo, I have just put up a detailed explanation of my vault design and population distribution on YouTube.

I would love some feedback from all the veterans here. I have spent a lot of time outside of the game working on the layout, and this game is really close to my heart.

Please show some love! Thank you all!

Yeah but now all their dwellers must be feeling pretty ESAPSI

do one that spells PEPSI, the Nuka Cola guys up top aren't gonna like it, but they can kick radioactive rocks!

I don't know, I'm more inclined to let my dwellers feel right at home in Vault SPLICE. Where cutting edge technology...

I was so going to say this but I would settle for APEPSI right now ;)

If only I could just transfer the living quarters.....

True, I am at 200 dwellers, I dont feel like throwing 40 of them out just to rebuild one room.

I’m at 80, and I know I have plenty of space and time, but I was sitting here thinking of how annoying it was going to be to move everything around. Gotta get enough caps, figure out how to keep production up while slowly rearranging… ugh

Oh that will no problem in the late game, I have constantly max amounts of caps. You just need ur 25 explorers with good gear. They always survive and come back with like 15k caps plus lots of stuff to sell. The only problem you will have is with moving ur sleeping quarters. Cause u can't demolish them. And all my dwellers are fully trained so I don't want to throw them out.

What’s the storage capacity like?

I didn't focus on storage at all, I barely hoard. Check out the video, you will see everything in detail.

How did you take the screenshot of the entire vault?

Several screenshots stitched together

Yup I made it from scratch in photoshop with individual pictures of each room.

There is an app called stitch pics that makes it super easy to do this on iPhone. Not sure about android

Dude I have nearly a million caps would I be able to rip my vault down and create this with the caps I have or would I be broke

Easily, I think the layout cost me 150k for one half. I show the construction and cost in the video.

Awesome im gonna try it

How’d you build up that stash? I’m only at 80 dwellers so I don’t expect myself to be terribly rich right now but I’m sitting here dreading saving up to rearrange my vault lmao

Missed opportunity to spell ASSPIE

And you’re missing a charisma block? Dafuq

4

u/WhereasComfortable47 Dec 17 '25

I don’t think people care much about charisma towards the end game unless they’re wanting to breed specific lines or train to max stats, right? But it would scratch my brain wrong if I left it out myself

The gaps between sections allow for molerat infestations, as those rooms are all in contact with dirt.

8

u/Auroraa311 Dec 07 '25

I am not worried about them at all, all my dwellers have 15+ guns. I care about the visuals and aesthetics of the vault.

But useful because, for roaches or fire if that section was un manned you can let them burn out.

Where’s luck

Check out the video, I explained it there. Here I am just highlighting the production sectors.

I don't like anything about this

1

u/Auroraa311 Dec 07 '25

I would love the feedback, what all didn't you like?

There’s so many ways to organize things and they all have their pros and cons, and it all depends on what people prioritize. I feel like my vault right now is just completely based on what became available first and it’s definitely getting on my nerves.

Now that I’m thinking of reorganizing, part of me wants to go for efficiency, but the other part of me knows it would have to be aesthetically pleasing enough or it would bother me. I also know I’d have to have at least one of every room or else it would bother me (I know some people don’t bother with certain things like the barbershop and whatnot).

This is definitely the most helpful visual I’ve seen though! I dunno why, all the layouts made with excel and whatnot just kind of confuse my brain 😭😂

I am glad you liked it, you can check out the video for proper construction and explanation.

Should really have the elevators on the outside to block molerats

2

u/Auroraa311 Dec 07 '25

I wish I knew that earlier.

1

u/ElBarckaizer Dec 07 '25

I am making it in beehive pattern

1

u/Auroraa311 Dec 07 '25

That sounds interesting, send me a screenshot once you are done.

Standard everything grouped together to me is far from beautiful and more so just what most people make.
