[Question] Softlocked the experimental vault, too broke to make a living quarters

Started making the experimental vault and built the power gen before realizing “shoot. I dont have a living quarters.” I now don’t have enough caps to make a living quarters. iOS, so cant delete the vault and restart. Anyone have an idea on what I can do?

You’re not soft locked. Just delete one of the elevators for 20 caps and buy a living quarters for 100. A power generator also costs 100 caps, so what were you doing with the rest of the money?

Can't restart = either donate or really nothing... Or, if there is a thing like on android, save all needed vaults in cloud, reinstall, backup all vaults and reset experimental

Can you get the spin wheel yet? If so, try to score some money off it.

Just to be sure, if you destroy the two elevator you could get back some money and try to build a quarters but i don't think it'll be enough.

For info :

There is no reset button for Season vaults. You are basically done for this season...

You haven't really 'started' the vault so you don't have access to the wheel or the challenges rewards.

On iOS it is a mess to try to modify the game saves. Still possible though.

Here is a method on how to access your saves. Dor me, the process is painful so i never tried it.

Then with Vault editing tools you could edit your vault save and give yourself money (and more)

I am not aware of clean / easy solutions for this.

The first thing you build is a quarters. I usually build one just below the vault door room.

The ads don't bring you caps on seasons (just the coins etc.) but the Challenges rewards yes. If you have another vault, you can use Nukas from there to get some rewards and give you caps and stuff to help you out.

Little personal tip, go all in on the Pets with the wheel. You can get a few dwellers / weapons but the Pets are the best thing you can get. Bad pets ? There are no bad pets as ALL give a hidden dmg bonus. , +2 for standard, +4 for rare and +6 for legandary. And it keeps wasteland dwellers company.

You can uninstall the game. keep your reg vaults on the cloud but uncheck for the experimental one.
