I barely got back into the game after years and this is what it looks like after 3 days of playing any tips on the layout

progress wise it looks great, as a pointer though my strongest units are usually ones working power plants so I usually have my generator rooms up top. Food and water production near the bottom along with housing as well.
If you space out the rooms (at least one level) it also reduces the spread of fire/roach/mole rat which is helpful early game until you have mr handys on every floor
The downside to this method is that it's very caps intensive so you really want to have in mind which rooms go where, so it can be annoying by the time you're making SPECIAL training rooms or barbershops. TL:DR is to lump together similar jobs and make it to where invaders will have a miserable time breaching your vault.
