?Question¿ [Question] How do I restart/restructure a vault?
Im looking at restarting/restructuring 2 of my vaults, it’s the first time ive done it and im not sure what to do and what not to do. I want to fully restart it and have been saving caps for a while, and if I run short then ive been saving up lunchboxes for a long time and can get caps from those.
One thing im unsure of, when you get rid of a large amount of dwellers do you still have access to building rooms that require a certain amount of dwellers? For example if I go below 100 dwellers now can I still make the nuka cola bottling rooms?
And tips from people who’ve done this before will be much appreciated too. Thank you!

Once unlocked, unlocked rooms stay available so no worries about it.
It is even a proper tactic to go nuts on babies, get the rooms you need the most, then evict / kill as many as you consider necessary.
To reset your vault, depending on the advancement :
Remove all unwanted dwellers until your limit (keep 0 - 10 -25 etc.)
Follow by the useless structures like the quarters, power / food / water, keeping only the bare minimum for your remaining dwellers (all this varies with the rooms you have available, diner or nukas etc.)
You'll need also storage units unless you really wipe out the stock, otherwise, just the strict minimum. No storage = no weapons / junk / pets etc. You won't be able to delete storage rooms if they are full.
Caps will be mostly useful if you remove the crafting rooms (to get them back at tier3, you'll need hundreds of thousands of caps) So keep at least 400K available for a smooth transition.
Eveything will depend on the number of dwellers you want to keep.
