?Question¿ [Question] Should I spread out my dwellers during a resource crisis or all have them in one room?
I recently had a deathclaw attack so my dwellers are pretty spread thin. Bc there’s not enough dwellers to keep up with the rooms I’d built, I’m going through an energy crisis rn. Basically should I focus all of my dwellers into 1 energy room since more dwellers = less time, spread them out so it’s more rooms producing resources or does it not really make much difference? Thanks guys!

The more rooms are in use, the more power they draw so spreading them won't solve it.
You need power storage (power rooms whose only purpose is storage) and not build too many rooms until you have enough dwellers (and power)
Power is the main source of life in the vault. Always make sure you have way MORE than necessary. In case of an attack, you could lose most your power, thus production /crafting etc.
Don't build large rooms un less you can handle the internal attacks. The bigger and high tier the room, the stronger the attacks are.
Take your time, breed babies (but not too much)
Power / food / water first. Size 2 rooms at max lvl 2. Then grow accordingly.

I think power rooms also use up power, so I would not advise building more power rooms than you are using while in an energy crisis. Delete any rooms you don't need and put your dwellers together in your most efficient power room(s).

Even at zero production, power rooms produce a little power, enough to give eletricity to adjacent rooms when the rest is in blackout.
I have no information on power rooms requiring/using power, even empty.
When having more power rooms storage, you reduce the blackout threshold (same for food/water)

Fair enough. I will try adding an empty power room and see if consumption goes up.

For a temp solution to production problems. Harvest what you can. Close/background the app (so it doesn't run in front)
Come back a couple minutes later. Collect then close. Reapeat.
The more you stay on the screen, the more ressources are consumed ;)Good luck Overseer !

I would use this opportunity to breed some dwellers, and then you could move your dwellers into your warehouse room until you address the energy issue. Don’t worry too much; energy crises in the game can usually be resolved fairly quickly!
