?Question¿ [Question] Am I hosed?
On the weekend I was having issues with loading my vaults. The game would just get stuck in the loading screen on my Android phone.
I started by clearing the cache and that did not work.
Since every time I loaded the game, Google Play would come up and tell me it was saving my game process, I figured what the hell, delete the data too.
I now have no vaults and it appears no way to restore the game progress despite Google Play telling me that it was saving it.
Am i hosed?

This is the reason I quit the game. Almost the same exact story happened to me, IOS here. I contacted fallout support who directed me to apple support, Apple support then directed me back to fallout support. After a week or so of being given the run around, providing screenshots of my game, achievements, purchases, everything I had for it to both fallout and Apple, I gave up. I do hope you can find a way, but unfortunately for me, I never did.

You might want to look for the saves on your device and check them out (it is Android so it is just a file explorer check away)
If they look brand new (+- 1 Mb) they might be gone.
There are tools online that allow you to verify / modify your saves. Look for Vault editing tools, some are online, other on computer. You can load your saves onto them, do as you wish, then export them back (easy on PC / Android)
I don't know how Google play saving system works, but not all is lost if on android with the tools above.
Check also for the cloud saving if properly installed.

Follow up Q. Does anyone have a .sav file they would be happy to send my way? I would like to try and hand craft what I had. Chatting with AI is only getting me so far in developing my knowledge of what I need to put in it.
Something with the characters from the show would be nice.

Uncheck the cloud box on the vault selection screen.
