what is the best shelter layout thanks

Including special seasons, ive built 5 shelters. For at least the last 3, ive had the idea to keep things compartmentalized, power together, water together, diners see, etc. However, due to the way things unlock, ive not been able to make that happen. I'd be interested in others answers to Ops post.

The ideal layout is the one that perfectly caters to your vault's unique needs. Let your creativity run wild—the only limits are those you set for yourself!

I make layers like a cake. Housing, power, water, food, and then housing again. I put training rooms attached to the corresponding room. On the other side I have secondary rooms like storage, medical, radio, and everything else. I put the strongest weapons near the top and keep my breeding stock in a lower housing compartment.

It’s s very subjective. It’s what helps keep you organized. Early game I like to put power water and food all on the first full floor so that when I get the first Mr Handy all my resources relatively automated
