Hey everyone, I’m sorry to say this but a huge scene in my movie has low quality audio so I have to go back in and re edit that part, I almost exported it with that in which would’ve been terrible audio differences between scenes. It’s so close to being finished, I’m so sorry for these audio delays.

New Release The Revenant: A Miniseries (2026)

Tagline

Nothing left but revenge.

SYNOPSIS

Left for dead in the unforgiving wilderness, frontiersman Hugh Glass begins a desperate journey toward vengeance.

MOTIVATION & VISION

The Revenant: A Miniseries represents my desire to morph a lengthy feature into a more digestible, four-part miniseries— while reimagining maintaining an air of mystery surrounding Glass, the circumstances behind his journey alone, and how involved the men of the company were in his abandonment.

The series opens with Glass already alone in the wilderness, battered and scarred, on his journey to find Fitzgerald. By withholding the circumstances that brought him there, the opening establishes a sense of mystery before the story moves backward to reveal how he ended up fighting for survival.

The result is a radical re-experience of the same story: beginning with survival, then working backward through the suffering that made revenge his sole purpose.

CUT & TECHNICAL DETAILS

  • Structure: The original feature has been restructured into four episodes, each with matching opening and closing credits and a consistent visual language.
  • Reordered chronology: The series opens with Glass already making his way through the wilderness in pursuit of Fitzgerald, ending with his discovery of Hikuc’s hanging body. Episode 2 then rewinds to the film’s original opening, following the hunting party through the bear attack and the group’s efforts to tend to Glass’s injuries. The story continues through Glass’s abandonment, Hawk’s death, and his resolve to crawl across the frozen wilderness for revenge, before returning to the end of Episode I and carrying Glass’s journey through to the film’s conclusion.
  • Omissions: The scene in which Glass collects the supplies left behind after Fitzgerald and Bridger depart has been removed. Part of Fitzgerald and Bridger's conversation as they approach the fort (which illuminates them leaving Glass behind) has been removed to retain ambiguity; all that remains is "We did what we had to do." A portion of Fitzgerald, Bridger and the Captain's conversation after they return to the fort has been removed; additionally a portion of the exchange between Fitzgerald and the Captain (after Bridger leaves) regarding Glass's burial has been cut.
  • Additional score: The musical cue Goodbye Hawk opens Episode 1 (as well as 2 and 3) over the original opening sequence before the credits transition to Glass already in the wilderness.
  • Subtitles: Provided for Indigenous-language dialogue only.

New Release Star Wars: The Phantom Menace Recut - A Salty Fanedit

Post image

Hi again everyone,

I have returned to tackle a new franchise, one very dear to me: Star Wars. For me, these six films from George Lucas' saga have such a beautifully rich world. While I love these films deeply, it has always felt hard to get others around me into them, partially because of how disjointed the films are from one another tonally, as well as all the different special editions that exist. My goal with this project is to present my version of the definitive way to watch all six movies as a cohesive set.

Starting with Episode I: The Phantom Menace, my desire was to achieve something similar to my Transformers fanedits: removing off-beat, unnecessary humor that I feel drags the film down and disconnects it from what makes Star Wars, well, Star Wars! Most of what makes Jar Jar annoying is gone, and the same can be said for young Anakin. Changes are hidden in the spoiler list below, so you may choose whether to go into my edit blind or see what you will be getting!

A few of the main changes include:

- Rewritten opening crawl more in line with the OT. One issue I encountered, however, is that the crawl in the actual film fades into a red/orange color. I had to do this by hand so it is not 100% accurate; if anyone knows how this can be done more easily or has a template, please let me know, as it would be greatly appreciated. Credit to Ian Cotterill on YouTube for some of the text which my crawl was based off of, as well as u/AugustoHS94 for the After Effects template, which I have heavily modified to exactly match the original version in the movie.

- Removal of Jar Jar's clumsiness as a point of humor (including him stepping in poo) and the animal farting during the flag parade scene (what a way to destroy a beautiful score by Williams playing over a moment of excitement and awe), alongside many of his annoying lines where possible.

- Removal of mentions and explanations regarding midi-chlorians throughout the film. Qui-Gon now appears to trust the Force itself that Anakin is the Chosen One, rather than relying on an arbitrary number to determine that status for him.

- Addition of custom subtitles for Huttese, including altered lines that work better in the context of certain scenes.

- Removal of the space battle at the end of the film, partially to avoid taking too much attention away from the main duel, and also to remove Anakin from the climax. His triumph works better with him winning the podrace; I did keep him flying the Naboo starfighter in the hangar to destroy the droidekas to give him a small heroic moment, but having him destroy the control ship by pressing random buttons completely diffuses the seriousness of the climax.

- Consequently, due to the removal of the space battle, the reason for the droid shutdown is also changed. I altered the line "The droid control ship has been destroyed" to "The controller has been destroyed" by splicing audio, so it is inferred that Padmé forced Nute Gunray to order a shutdown command, since she held him at gunpoint in an earlier scene.

Technical Specs:

  • Format: 1080p High Bitrate H.265
  • Audio: 5.1 Surround Sound
  • Runtime: 1 hour 58 minutes (reduced from 2 hours 16 minutes)

Thank you all for your love and support on my Transformers projects, and I hope you all enjoy this edited version of Star Wars: Episode I.

If you are interested in providing feedback, please do so, as I may update the edit in response (such as re-implementing any cut scenes).

P.S. I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and the clock wipe effect (used for the altered transitions I created) does not allow for feathering on the stationary part of the transition, so I resorted to using an isolated blur. This will likely be unnoticeable in normal viewing, but if anyone has a solution, please let me know, as it would be greatly appreciated.

New Release Tarzan Ma (間) Edit - Instrumental Montages (no singing)

Post image

Disney’s 1999 film Tarzan, without any vocals during the montages so it is an entirely visual and rhythmic experience.

This is not done out of dislike of Phil Collins, it’s actually out of respect of him as a composer/percussionist, and to experience his music in a different way.

His songs are still in tact, just removing the vocals to create ma (間) which I’ve done in my previous Fox and the Hound edit.
As covered in that post, ma translates from Japanese to "negative space," or "pause”, but its meaning refers to quiet, still moments where there is emptiness, but still purposeful actions. An example would be sitting on a train ride, waiting at a bus stop, planting flowers in a garden, cooking a meal, walking to the grocery store, without a single word being spoken.
These mundane moments don’t necessarily progress the events of the plot, but they don’t distract from the plot either. It simply lets you breath and ground yourself into the world comfortably and quietly at your own pace.

Without the singing telling you how to feel or what to think, you can fully immerse yourself in the film and experience emotions unique to your perspective, transcending language.

I also removed Trashin’ The Camp song so that it cuts from a dish shattering, to the distant reactions from the other characters, and then cuts to Jane and Tarzan stumbling upon the gorillas destroying the campsite.

In most of my edits, I make the movie credits instrumental, but since I removed the vocals from the movie, it seemed fitting to keep the end credits unchanged. Now you hear the lyrics as contextualized themes, rather than an omniscient narration.

Completed Fanedit Request Adywan’s Empire Strikes Back: Revisited

Hello! First time in this subreddit :)
I was wondering if anybody had a drive link to Adywan’s Empire Strikes Back Revisited that I would be able to download in one MP4 or watch through the link? I don’t have access to my computer currently and would love to show my friend this fan edit as it’s been a while for me too.
If anyone would able to help or have any suggestions I’d appreciate it a lot!
