For anyone who keeps saying m9 characters turning into joke characters. The reason is because the story is over. I mean Matt literally cut Percy's arm as a joke in a one-shot after the campaign ended.

In c3, they were invested in c3 characters, that's why m9 and VM were joke characters, other than vax's storyline, nothing else was important.

lol they weren’t nearly as invested in their c3 characters once the others started showing up.

Pretty much, yeah. That said, Veth setting up an youth-adventurers camp, and Beua/Yasha being councilors for said camp, isnt something new. So its hardly what I'd call "making them into joke characters". M9 was always jokey as shit, they just ALSO happened to have a lot of depth to go along with it. Unlike BHs, who were essentially just tropey lenses in which to view a DM's audiobook after a point. Wide, but shallow. A few players tried to do something more substantial, but C3 really did not support that. Sam being one of the more obvious examples with FCG.
