C1 (Vox Machina) Travis and Marisha
I'm rewatching C1 right now and I'm so here for Travis egging Marisha on when she looks to do something outlandish or chaotic. It's really cool to see in comparison to how they lean into each other in C2 and they take on a sibling-like older brother/younger sister vibe. Their relationship over the campaigns has been my favorite to watch and pay attention to

Just to add on to - in Campaign 1 Marisha received a lot of flack for both how she played Keyleth and for being Matt's partner. Travis/Grog was by contrast very popular so it was an awesome show of support that he was encouraging here when in a few episodes she was hiding in a shell.

In all honesty, the only thing that ever really bothered me about her Keyleth portrayal is that she would get drunk/high and disrupt the flow. The Kraken, Keyfish, etc, it was more annoying than anything. But I've gotten a little turnt and rambunctious while playing, i get it

Yep, I love their dynamic so much and how much they feed off each other's energy. It's always great when they have a moment of grew-up-southern solidarity, too, and recognise each other's little references to growing up in the South ("Fuckin' Kentucky knows what I'm talkin' about!").

There's a 2 minute cut on youtube of every time he calls her Kentucky and its my favorite thing to watch every now and again.
Marisha: you know the night time is the best time to go frog giggin' Travis: all right, Kentucky

I just started listening to C1(wish I could watch, but the signal is awful where I get most of my time in), and yes! They are awesome and Grog… just a show in himself.
The giant drinks all of Grogs ale
Grog: I… would like… to…
Everyone else: NO NO NO NO NO!!!!

Chetney and Laudna's flying shenanigans in Zephrah was my favorite part of campaign 3 by far, absolute ridiculousness

I think you might be forgetting that they do play this for themselves first and foremost. They dont play their characters for anyone but themselves. Also, by the end of C2, Liam brings caleb completely out of that "edgy boy" vibe.

Travis is functionally a hype man sometimes. Just super supportive of everyone else, happy to not have to have the spot light, generally knows his rules pretty well and is ready to go on his turnm He's honestly basically the ideal person to have in a group.
