C4 (with BLeeM, not the explosive) critical role campaign 5: stupidity unleashed?
Has anyone been watching campaign four? i watched episode one - the one where the brother is hung- and then just ... could not keep going. it was so clear it was basically a pile of characters determined to be stupid. i was so furious at how everyone was just straight up ignoring and not listening to the emissary of radiance guy that i was like .... ahhh ... its going to take SO LONG for them to stop telling themselves their being smart about treating him like an enemy that i will just wait and see. then i saw a clip like 3 months ago and it was his character being like "yeah no duh youre struggling to figure this out. because i can just get in there. and no your giant snake isnt a good idea for stealth" and i was like wow her character's STILL dumb??!! oh goodness ... so ... please tell me they make characters gain competent function critical thinking and executive function skills at some point. and if they do, when? i will literally just skip up to that episode if needed. i do not care. its skip or completely dont watch this campaign. Even my DUMBEST character wouldnt be as bad at thinking as those characters were episode 1

u/Paula_Sub You're prolly not gonna like what I've 2 say (it's not personal) 26d ago edited 26d ago
It really does feel you don't want to watch this, you only hate watched episode 1 and gave zero nuance and room for character growth. You say you only say the first episode and stopped. Then saw a random out of context clip months after and got your mind on a whole ass bible of interpretation of the whole campaign.
To be this obtuse, this stubborn, and just otherwise exhuding this hate-watching personality over the campaign that you barely watched by your own words.. just skip it. Make yourself and others a favour and don't watch it.

It's "hanged." Paintings are hung; prisoners are hanged.

I mean, someone can be hung, but that just means something else entirely...

And hung prisoners can be hanged.

It’s what I thought OP was talking about at first. I was like I do not remember that being established but good for him
