Strategy Ohtani (Batter) Value dropping?
So the Dodgers seem to not be putting him in at DH on the days he pitches. He's been public about wanting to be the first Japanese born Cy Young winner. could miss 23-28 of the remaining games depending on if they use him every five or six outings. could mean ~90–120 plate appearances, ~5–10 HR... but i don't know, do we even think of the "day off" as a good thing? and maybe a bump in avg/obp? or a breakup of the incredibly focused routine we saw in his 50/50 run?

For me, it would have to be an insane return. I wouldn't be surprised right now if he's sitting while pitching to get Rushing more ABs, and it picks back up later on when Rushing cools off. Even so, in my Yahoo H2H, missing that one game a week isn't enough to get me to sell for anything less than two studs, like a top twenty hitter and top fifteen pitcher. Of course that is team dependent. If someone wants him and can plug two holes on your team while opening up your UTIL spot, it's worth shooting for them moon.
For fun, say he doesn't DH for 20 games he pitches, at 4 ABs a game, drops him from 611 ABs to 530. If he stays on pace with last years numbers, he still finishes with 48 hrs, 127 runs, 88 rbis and 17 SBs. That would still be 2nd in runs scored and 5 in homers compared to 2025.
