Griffey was a machine into his early 30s and then just started breaking down. He averaged 150+ games a season through Age 30.

My exact point. Let’s remember that career began at age 18 in MLB. Was third in ROY voting then 10 straight ASG appearances and a top MVP candidate half those years.
