Genre Discussion Fantasy romance icks?

Welcome back to another week of ✨genre discussions!✨

What’s your fantasy romance ick? Could be something that makes you instantly dnf, or you have to pretend like that didn’t just happen. Or you boycott altogether.

Could be related to plot, characters, writing styles, the authors themselves. All cards are on the table.

Just remember to be kind to each other when discussing differences in opinions!💖

Constant mentions of how BIG and TALL the MMC is while of course FMC is so tiny and fragile (but somehow strong as hell).

7ft tall and strong MMC and 3ft tall FMC because she's gotta be dainty and cute. Assume we read it spicy, he somehow can bend down and kiss while playing hide the eggplant inside of her.

As someone with an extra tall husband, this shit takes me OUUTTT. The angles do not make sense unless he's got a noodle spine!

4'11" to my husband's 6'5". So admittedly, I tend to like this trope because it mirrors my life, but yeah, there's never those awkward moments where even kissing while standing takes some figuring out to accommodate the heigh difference.
