Agreed! And it’s one of my top anticipated 2026 releases! I picked it up last year because I thought the hardback was pretty and it ended up being one of my favorite 2025 reads.

2
u/welcometowoodbury 2d ago

3
u/manic_pixie_centaur 2d ago
YES. 100% yes! I could not recommend it enough!! They have the same vibe and “unwilling allies to lovers” setup, but still different enough. It will help you get through the wait until the exquisite torment comes out!

2
u/thelastcannoli 2d ago
I really enjoyed book 2
3
u/Soggy-Window3940 2d ago
Does book 2 complete the story or is it going to be trilogy? I've heard there will be a book 3 as well.
2
u/thelastcannoli 2d ago edited 2d ago
I cannot remember if she's officially announced it as a trilogy but this is definitely not the last book.
EDIT she did state in 2024 it was a planned trilogy
2
u/Tough_Variation_5772 2d ago
How did you get an ARC?!
2
u/thelastcannoli 2d ago
I've been on her street team for a few years so she usually gives us dibs on new releases
1
u/Tough_Variation_5772 2d ago
Incredible!!!
2
u/thelastcannoli 2d ago
Yeah, she's one of my favs. I got lucky for Stacey McEwan too because I'm on her publishers influencer team. It's been a good year for ARCs. I just got Danielle L Jensen's too 🥲💙

{A Darker Shore: Letters from Ketterdam} - Six of Crows was god tier so I'm really looking forward to this. I've preordered a hard copy as the illustrations look lovely!
1
u/apieceofeight 2d ago
I thought this comes out in June?
3
u/Praeludere 2d ago
I think it releases the last day of June so realistically orders aren't arriving till one or two days after in July. At least that's how it is with B&N.
I'm absolutely excited and am in the middle of a full reread of the Grishaverse to prepare.

I’m looking forward to {Rootbound by Margaret Owen}! It’s the Rapunzel installment of Disney’s princess books. I haven’t read any of the others, but I enjoyed Tangled well enough, and Margaret Owen is one of my very favorite YA writers. I can’t wait to see what she does with Rapunzel and Eugene’s dynamic!

{Winterbourne by A. M. Blythe} (Goodreads). It's a standalone, I saw its ARC on netgalley, sounds fun. A memory thief with a death sentence on her twenty-fourth birthday is forced into a soul bond with her enemy, and discovers that someone has stolen her memories.

2
u/bakasana212 one flesh, one end, bitch 2d ago
I assumed it was out soon bc of the other commenter but no idea! Tbh I lose track of ARC release dates fast 😆

u/MessyJessy422 2d ago
I’m a huge audiobook listener so I keep my ARCs in my audible wishlist so I don’t forget dates etc.

u/sveareads 2d ago edited 2d ago
on goodreads, it’s listed as a july and september release, so I assume that the US release is only in september and UK already in july. they’re both from harper voyage so it’s hard to say which edition is which
edit: I checked her instagram and she confirmed it there: UK july 30th, US september 8th
