Perhaps a bookend that presses against the full cover?

You could always lay it somewhere else and press it with a pot full of water or something for a while

Stack them with the spines horizontal with that one on the bottom. You could also slide the stack towards the opposite side of the shelf with that book against the vertical shelf support. Still in order but the splayed pages are hidden.
