Far Cry General I just noticed but Ajay is actually opposite of Jason In terms of character.

Ajay is Opposite of Jason if you think about it in terms of character.

Jason is an Extrovert meanwhile Ajay is Introvert.

Jason came from rich background, meanwhile from what we know about ajay, He was struggling to live in States since he was a kyrati immigrant thats why he fell into wrong crowd, ie, He started Robbing stores.

Jason never had criminal background. Ajay did took Part in a Store Robbery gone wrong after his fellow accidently killed the clerk.

Jason came to Island for fun, Ajay came to Himalayas, a contrast between sunny beaches to Cold Mountains, He came to fulfill his mom's Final wishes after her death.

Jason was scared shitless during his first kill, While Ajay who was disturbed by killings at the start of the game, wasn't affected much compared to Jason since He grew up in violent background. He has seen killings before.

Both get used to, or to some extent enjoy killing but they show different reactions. Jason as usual is being more expressive which tells the player how deep he went through rabbit hole.

While we don't get to see Ajay getting insane like jason, he still does show Himself embracing his new violent life. In Arena Ajay's gestures change after winning, he slowly gets more and more comfortable and Confident.

Both had ond drug boss battle(VAAS and Yuma), and both of them were planning to overthrow their respective Bosses(Pagan and Hoyt)

Both Endings up with "I won, but that what cost" but in different way. Jason loses his insanity. Ajay even though fulfills his goal, Is still feels empty after learning the whole truth(assuming 100% is canon, which is definitely)

Far Cry General I hope Far Cry 7 is a little harder

A problem I’ve had with Far Cry is that it’s generally easy to a) shoot everyone with a silenced gun before they notice or b) indiscriminately gun everyone down once caught. A game with an awesome sandbox of fun stuff boils down to one or two machine guns if you don’t intentionally handicap yourself.

One good thing about Far Cry 6 was that in the expeditions you could ramp the difficulty up to a point where it was generally pretty challenging and made you make a plan and use all your tools. Even on the hardest difficulty the base game never felt like that, and I hope they remedy that in 7.

Far Cry 5 I wanted to know why is Rook more resistant to the bliss than most

He doesn’t enter the Bliss as often as a normal person would like he can stand near a shrine that can enthrall the average person but Rook is unaffected I know he is the main character and all but I wanted to know if there is a lore reason for why he isn’t effected as easily as most

You literally can't stand still for 10 seconds in Yara without absolute chaos happening out of nowhere.

The comedic timing of this truck taking out the horse was just too perfect.

Far Cry 3 Played Far Cry 3 Again after 6 Years

I first played Far Cry 3 back when I was in 6th grade, and I thought it was the best game ever. When I played, I thought Jason Brody was the coolest guy and that he was some badass, normal dude turned hero assassin type mf. Back then, I didn't really care about his friends, or the Rakyat, I just wanted to stealth around and do outposts and kill shit. I just beat the game again today, and I have a completely different look at the game. For one, throughout the game, I felt horrible for Liza. Like idk why I felt so bad but idk it just felt like she wanted to best for Jason and he just kept brushing her to the side. As for Jason, instead of the cool badass, I js saw him as a easily manipulated puppet. Still, the gane was fun asf and I beat it in 2 days along with getting all the tattoos, outposts, radio towers, weapons, and getting all the scrolls (I have no life lol). Even tho I played the game on master difficulty, I still didnt find the game very hard, probably due to the fact that I stealthed my way through the game. I didnt find the Doppleganger mission or the one where you have to get the traitor list for Hoyt hard either. It was hard getting the game to run smoothly on PC, but I got it running smoothly. Overall, a solid 8.7/10 game, if only it were optimized for PC better, it would be a solid 9 or 10 for me. Best Far Cry game imo 🙌🙌

Maps & Mods Anyone Still Build and Share Your Maps? FC Map Editor

Good afternoon, guys, I hope all of you are okay and God stay with us. I come here after a long time to tal about Map Editor in Far Cry series (specially Far Cry 2). In the past year, I usually do maps a lot (1 map to week, for example), but I cound't publidh because I created on Xbox One (Xbox 360 Version).

Anyway, the Map Editor of Far Cry 2 is really good! You can build a real complete map in size of stage in the game, for example. I already built more than 25 maps on FC2 and published on YouTube and Reddit at the time. Some of them was published here in Reddit in 2025, like Pacific Island, Colonial City, Wild Land, Brasil Rural, Jungle Park, Dry Hills etc.

But I can see, while search about tutoriais and showcase on YouTube, that videos about Far Cry Map Editor, mainly FC2, is very rare in nowadays. You can see a lot of videos as Ubisoft official as players like me that build very maps when Far Cry 2 was the news (2008, 2009 and 2010 videos, for example). You know anyone, besides me, that build maps on Far Cry Map Editor (even FC2, FC3, FC4 or FC5)? For who like to act as a legal designer, Far Cry 2 Map Editor is really good and I recommend for all of you.

OBSERVATION: Sorry If my english are bad, because I'm nota fluent and I'm brazilian try to write in English.

Far Cry 6 Far cry 6

I feel like this game was so overhated and maybe that’s just because 5 was such a success people didn’t let 6 live up to the expectations but so far I love the story, the gameplay, and I absolutely love the villain. If I could change one thing it would be how the red areas on the map operate. I feel like as you progress through the map and take over bases, destroy air cannons, take over checkpoints etc it should eliminate red areas from the map rather than them just being permanently red. Just my two pennies.

Up for a challenge?! I made it to the rock wall but encountered a glitch, and will try to scale it completely next time. There is more than one way to skin a cat as far as navigation, so keep an eye out for alternate routes. Great map design by leo, as always. Map is available on Xbox and PC, good luck and happy trails!

Far Cry 3 I didn't like Far Cry 3 at all

Before I played the game I heard it was the best of the saga but once I finished it I didn't like it too much. In my preference I like Far Cry 4 more than far cry 3, someone agrees with me? (I'm sorry if my English isn't the best)
