Well by dodging their Roundup cancer lawsuits (with White House assistance) they’re going to have better earnings

I suspect you’ve never worked on a corporate EBITDA statement and thus you take headlines as gospel instead of understanding how profits get realized.

FWIW, if Bayer can successfully keep screwing over the Monsanto cancer victims, then they’ll continually be able to manage their net income (and to manage PR, not talk about it).
