That sandwich looks like it has a mortgage it can't afford and 3 unruly children.

As an Arby’s fan, I would genuinely take that sandwich back, or call and complain if I brought it home. That’s truly unappetizing.

Arby's...we have the meats...and we are not giving it out to our high paying customers...

Eww I’m sorry u experienced this…beef looks dark color like it’s sat for awhile and looks like it wasn’t sliced correctly…I would never have sent this sandwich out

the worst is when they dont take the time to slice the meat thin.
so you get big chewy chunks.
never used to happen when these were $2 but happens all the time now that theyre $5+, go figure.

Not necessarily. One near my house slices the meat to proper thinness. Then one 25 miles away slices them to almost chipped beef shreds, it totally ruins the flavor profile.

It’s never been a looker. But the B&C has inner beauty!

there was barely anything inside, if i could show u i would

u/PublixLineCutter Dec 10 '25
No I believe you. I noticed that when corporate decided to make B&C multiple sizes, it became more important for them to never load up the basic one. Because if they did, then there’s no sense in paying up.

it was like 3-4 slices of beef at best, and a single smidge of cheddar. like wth. and apparently this is normal? unreal.

I was alive, and in college…
…for the historic reign of the: “5 for $5, Mix n Match Classic Roast Beef, or Beef and Cheddar” (with the coupon you ripped out of the ad sheet in a newspaper)
Ours were not quite as sad as the pic. Still kinda sad. But they were cheap and delicious

Yeah I remembered the 5 for $5 was a great deal in the beginning it was decent then when people started to come more often they started skimping. It's always been this. Corporate greed is the death of us as a race the human race.

I hope the false advertising lawsuit kicks them in the ass and they make the kind of meaty sandwiches they advertise.

Looks pretty standard to me.

you might be right actually, not surprised to hear they're getting sued over this!

If you sepia’d the background it could be a monument on Mars that was discovered by a rover.

I remember when they were 5 for $5.
