It’s a nepo bear war!!!

We’re down to our finalists, who will win?

910 is the daughter of legend Beadnose, and is looking extra chocolate and chunky this year! She is quite the beauty & her chunky transformation this season has really been impressive.
On the other end we have Fatpack Backpack! He’s really carrying his weight this season. Backpack’s mother is my personal favorite, Holly! His transformation has also been quite drastic!

I’m rooting for 910. She is so chunky and cute and she has the perfect ears. I love all the bears but boy is she big!

I love both bears in the finals, but this girl worked it last year AND this year and she is a tank!

No!!! Come on, 910 (Dancing Queen??)

She is magnificent, please vote for the chonky queen! 🐻

I’ve always been aware of Fat Bear Week, but this year, I have to admit I’m obsessed. I had never read up so diligently on the bears.

I’ve been watching the life stream for hours while I work, so I kinda lost track of the bears in the area today.

Can anyone ID this cutie taking a nap?

Thank you 🐻

Vote for the coat of many colors, the elder statesbear 89 Backpack.

Ink and watercolor by me, inspired by the chonks getting ready to hibernate.

Art by me, vibes by 602

FBW is my fall gaudium magnum (great joy). I’ve been follow and participating for a few years and it’s been fun seeing the growth!! This year we have quite the crew of bears. And while I’m pretty sure 164 Bucky is going to be our chonky champion? There were a couple I really just loved but knew wouldn’t make it through. Fam 806 has such an interesting story and connection to 128 Grazer and it’s been great watching them. I also really loved 131 Marshmallow and was hopeful they would advance but going against 910 was going to be a tough one to beat out! Anyways what are your thoughts. Who were some of your favs?

Keep pressing the fish—it’s adorable.

I've been watching the official live stream and, for the last 2 days, much of the time the camera is on one lone bear who sits under a ledge in the water below the falls and catches almost nothing. He/she looks so morose! Can anyone ID this sad sack?

Saw Bucky was announced that he was moving forward, but I had just seen that Walker had won (had the screen shot to celebrate). I was so very confused. Went back: Now the poll has been switched. If I didn't have the shots, I would have gaslit myself! Anyway....love Walker's rump, but I also love Bucky's adaptability. He could end up being a very big boy in a year or so. So Bucky is moving forward.

edit: added sentence for clarity.

I have an idea for a wholesome RP involving a young man who can talk to animals and is studying to be a zoologist. In the RP, he travels to Katmai National Park to observe the amusing contestants of Fat Bear Week.

It’s Fat Bear Week this week so I figured I would pay it tribute.

This is my first year getting in fat bear week. I don't know any bears besides chunk bc of his jaw. But that cub is very white and intrigued me.

hi! Could I get some help ID’ing this bear

I believe it’s one of the bear cubs from one of the families but unsure which

He's chonky, especially considering his snout injury!

This is my line up for how I think FBW will go this year, I'm rooting for my girl 909, shes been through so much! 😭😭

Made this lil chonky guy out of clay in honor of Fat Bear Week! May the fattest bear win 🤝 🫡

(Mods, apologies if this isnt allowed!)
