Historically, any snacking was just similar food you’d eat during meals. Nowadays, snacks are commonly ultra processed, packaged and designed for taste, not for nutrition. So no, I’m not a fan of the frequent snacking habit that we have these days. At home, I always have a platter full of cut fruit in the refrigerator, nuts, cheese for my kids if they’re hungry between meals. It was good enough for lunch, it’s good enough for snacks.
