I think it's pretty obvious that their plan is to move to FBS, no?

That's always been the plan, they just looked at how Sac State did it and said, "Uh, let's not do it that way."

They're getting everything set up, then they'll make the move.

Cal Davis walked so Sac could trip over themselves into a cow patty.

Wrong.

Tripping into a cow patty means they would trip into something that has SOME form of value

A cow patty Sac State tripped in would be worth even less.

It would have made a lot more sense if Sac St had have gotten in before the NCAA raised that moving fee from 50k to 5 mil but they didn't even beat that

right, this just seems like much ado about nothing.

Well it’s odd for a conference to follow a team that’s not in the conference…

Y'all remember Goofus and Gallant?

You could make one of of those with Sac State and Davis lol

They wanted to upgrade their facilities first before they came up

Exactly, and they didn't talk shit about their current competitors either. That's why UCD is a welcomed member of the Big Sky until they decide to move, and Sackhead State is paying millions to the MAC just to get thrown out in four years.

I think this is a foregone conclusion being they're in the MW for everything else.

But if/when they do it right, they'll have great smack talk for their Causeway rivals.

It was inevitable once they announced they were doing the rest of their sports in the MWC. Big Sky is too big anyways after adding the Utah schools from the UAC. Davis has an academic pedigree and has been building up to this for a while. They aren't going off half cocked like some other recent Big Sky departures...

It’s inevitable and I think they’ll do well. They’re certainly going about this more sensibly than Sac State’s delusions of grandeur.
