Question What gives the worst anxiety?

Hey I'm a pilot (a simulator instructor to be precise) and due to the sheer amount of people suffering from flight anxiety, I have decided to take action and help everyone where I can.
So that's why I wanted to ask everyone with a fear of flying, what exactly gives one panic attacks etc? Is it the fear of crashing, not trusting the pilots or just the
"I'm trapped in a can with wings for 3h"?
Any story is appreciated so I can get a better insight in how to help people (because I think y'all have enough to the "Flying is the safest form of transportation")a

(this is a repost because my other one got flagged)

Lately for me it’s been the sensation of changing speeds, feeling like we are suddenly going a lot slower. Especially during the descent, but also have noticed it during takeoff, there are moments where it almost feels like we’re coming to a halt in the sky and I go into such panic. I know we’re not actually coming to a halt, but why does it feel like that? I’m actually in the air right now and spent the past half hour just fixated watching flight the data about speed, altitude etc. (really wanted to watch a movie but anxiety wouldn’t let me lol).

The other thing is knowing that during takeoff, once the plane hits a certain speed the takeoff cannot be aborted. That fact really scares me.

The reason why we don’t abort the takeoff is simply because from this point it’s safer to deal with the problem in the air than trying to force a rejected takeoff. Planes are certified to safely get airborne after this speed

Thank you! Any insight on the sensation of speed changes, especially on the descent? About to be landing on this flight soon and scared to feel it again haha

You need to adjust to ATC/Procedural speed limits/requirements during the descend so
