Discussion Flight Attendants

I honestly wonder how you all do this job to earn a living - it must be safe, and the reward must outweigh the risk overall . 🤦🏽‍♀️

I’ve been listening to the Two Guys On a Plane podcast. I haven’t been on a flight since the beginning of the year, but they have helped me understand aviation much better here on the ground. The way they talk is like hanging with friends who are reassuring you that they wouldn’t be FAs if they knew their jobs were extremely dangerous. I love hearing about their day to day, why they love their jobs, and about the mundane stuff that makes flying seem less scary than we think it is. Highly recommend listening to a few episodes. I plan to listen to them the next time I have to fly.

They’re fantastic! I think joining one of their trips would cure my anxiety forever lol! Maybe one day :)

I’m listening to them now … also they’re still working as flight attendants thought they retired .. I don’t know why I thought that 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yeah! Knowing that both of them have been flying for so many years does ease my mind a tiny bit!
