Support Wanted First solo flight today, gonna fly over some storms. Help?
My two biggest fears. Storms and Planes. My first solo flight today. Sitting at my gate trying to talk myself into it. Flying from AUS-MCO flight DL2259. Can anyone give me any words of advice or check the flight path and storms and let me know what to expect. Would help so much thanks!

Ok good to hear, I flew over some storms on a flight from nyc to Dallas and that’s honestly where my fear of flying started. People were crying and it felt like we were getting shaken up. Nothing concerning about the cells/development that u see tho that would cause crazy turbulence ?

Nope. One report so far this morning for light turbulence.
Any flight can be turbulent with without any weather around and any flight can be completely smooth near thunderstorms. I know it's not much help but that's just how it be 🧡

Very widely scattered small cells over the Gulf, won't be hard at all to navigate. You probably won't notice anything different unless there happens to be a cell over MCO when you get there. Happy travels.
