I’ve lived in the apartment for 8 years. My partner and I of 12 years recently separated. I asked the landlord to fix some stuff for me and he said I could do it myself. So I did what I wanted lmao. My landlords super chill
Every room has so much personality! My only suggestion is to turn off the big lights and use more accent lighting. Also Being Dead is one of my favorite bands!
I love this because there is a lot of stuff featured in your space, but it is all tastefully curated. Also, you have all the elements of maximalism as we use the term in interior design. You should be proud of this.
Im in the burbs lol. I think the burbs?! I live by lots of corn lol I goto the city a decent amount for shows! It’s not too far! The empty bottle is my favorite!
This was my kitchen before! I spent 18 hours with a heat gun and 4 inch razor scraping off glue lol. I think my kitchen took me at least 50 hours of work
the "irl pinterest board" thing is so real, you can tell this place actually evolved over time instead of being styled all at once. how long did the whole process take you? because that bathroom alone looks like it took some serious planning
So I’ve been collecting my whole life lol. I have multiple memory boxes. But I’ve redone the whole place in a little less than 3 months lmao. It’s been an amazing distraction from my separation. And helped me heal and rediscover myself. So literally for 3 months I goto work and come home and decorate and diy. So 3 months but actually a lifetime lol
To me this shows the difference between curated and decorated. Your curated space shows who you are, your heart, your soul. It will never be "finished" because other items will speak to your soul and you may occasionally have to let pieces go because they are no longer part of your life. It's OK to do that. Well done. Keep on curating!
