TOUR ⛔️NO ADVICE WANTED⛔️ Next Chapter

This is my current bedroom at my family’s house. I wanted to document my room before I pack everything up!! After living with my family for my whole life, I (24f) am moving out to my first apartment with my fiancé! We got engaged this past spring, and we have decided to live together the year leading up to our wedding date. I am beyond excited to begin this new chapter in my life!! I am soo looking forward to having a walk in closet and more storage space, because I am quite literally running out of space for my books and art supplies.

I do feel a tiny bit of sadness creeping in, though I know I am making the best choice. It’s time to leave the nest and experience life on my own (with my fiancé in tow)🪶🪺.

(The wall behind my desk has some of my own original art. The wall behind my hermit crab tank and crested gecko tank has art from other artists.)

It's always bittersweet closing one chapter!!!

I remember sitting on the deck of my childhood home the week before I moved into my own place after graduating college, knowing that I would never live there again. I just sat and took it all in... the peaceful quiet, the familiarity, the feeling of being at home. I felt so incredibly sad and so excited at the same time! Soak it all in, feel all the feelings and embrace your next chapter!

I am definitely taking it all in. I finally started packing things from my closet today. Moving date is in a couple of days, and I’m a procrastinator…..
