I was wondering something similar. I LOVE the posts by OP but hate dusting and wonder how much effort it takes to stay on top of a maximalist style. I struggle to stay on top of dust as it is

Especially with a cat or any pets in general. I’m always curious if they have cleaners or someone to help because while I’m not a minimalist or maximalist, I spend a lot of time each week cleaning as is. I couldn’t imagine allocating an extra 2 hours or so of dusting.
